Partnership with Kerwin Courts: Building Skills, Confidence, and Community

We're delighted to share the wonderful results of our ongoing partnership with Kerwin Courts service.

Over recent weeks, we've had the pleasure of working closely with the people they support to refine their woodwork and crafting skills to create lots of new pieces, including signs and bags.

Occupational Therapy Assistant, Jenny, spoke about the positive impact that working with the Slinfold Community Shed was having on the people Kerwin Courts service supports:

“I really saw Suzi’s confidence grow. She loved using all the tools and getting stuck in. In return, we have got some lovely bespoke items. The shed founding members have been to visit us as we work to build stronger ties with each other and the local community.”

We're proud to be part of this journey and look forward to many more collaborative projects ahead.
