The Shed was packed on 18th October as Emma and Ashley of Sussex Girl Gardeners shared their know-how on taking cuttings and collecting and growing seeds.
There’s something very satisfying about growing a garden from almost nothing. A single cutting from a favourite plant can become a whole new one, and a handful of seeds saved this autumn can fill next year’s borders and veg beds for free. With seed heads drying on the plants and gardens still full of growth to take cuttings from, now is the perfect time to start.
Members left buzzing with great ideas and ready to have a go at home.
Thank you, Emma and Ashley, for such a lively and practical session.
